We have a new county rabbit club webpage- http://wheatbeltwarren.wetpaint.com/
rabbit clubThis is a place for people who show and raise rabbits. We will do a different thing every week. This week it will be "How to prepare for rabbits.

First thing, do you know how to take care of rabbits? It is important to know how or else you won't know how to take care of it. You need to prepare before you get them. You need to have someplace for the rabbit to stay even if you have to make it. These are all things you need to figure out, read a book I have included a link to a online book. http://www.lopsandcavies.com/pdf/Rabbit_Care_Breeding_Book.pdf

"What breed do I want?"
There is 47 recognized breeds of rabbits and cavies. They are all different, big, small ,medium ,fluffy, bald, good tempered ,bad tempered all kinds of things. you can see all the rabbit breeds at http://www.arba.net/ I personally raise Jesey Woolys And American Fuzzy Lops. They are small and fluffy and have good tempers.
you need to feed your rabbit hay after the show cause they groom themselves if you don 't they might die of wool block
